Welcome To the Indy Cruisers
Hi and thank you for visiting The Indy
Cruisers site.
It all began on August 25, 2001 at a small PT Cruiser show in Greencastle, In.
There were 14 cars in attendance that day and the talk began that "Indy needs a
club." The ball was rolling from that point on...and so the story
goes. We have grown together and have enjoyed each others company for many years
now. Our membership and club participation at events has been rather like an
accordion here the past couple years but our friendship remains!! It is
something else to think that this great little car has brought so many fantastic
people together to enjoy the times we have. We hope it continues.......
The Indy Cruisers club is based in the
Indianapolis, Indiana area and our site is dedicated to all of us who need an
outlet to meet, greet, SHOW OFF and discuss one of the greatest cars Chrysler
has ever released, the PT Cruiser!
We have no elected officers, no scheduled
meetings, no dues and no rules – except for one – WE ALWAYS HAVE FUN!!!
Bill & Debby are handling the website,
www.indycruisers.com and will be updating it with our club activities. We
plan on keeping the website up to date with a list of events you may want to
attend. Whenever you have any questions or any events you would like to list on
the site, you may reach us by using the Contact Us button to the left.
Keep on Cruisin and Enjoy
the Fun Times,
Bill & Debby

Gas Prices
are Hitting Home
I know everyone would
love to start getting out and hitting the road in their beautiful Cruisers,,,,
but with the price of gas causing most everything to spike, Jake Musselman said
their plans for an Indiana Historic Cruise is not going to happen this year. His
plans include more backyard time in between jobs. Deb & I will try to keep
things going and when we have an open weekend with good weather we will put
something up here to get your attention,,, for a local cruise. So stay in touch
and watch this page and the events page for possible short excursions to
Cruising Paradise. A hint on when it might occur,,, it will not occur on the
weekends where we have a

Have A Heart/Adopt
A Soldier
Please support our Troops
by going to
Gladys Walker's website,
Have A
Heart/Adopt A Soldier.
Gladys, a mother from Malone, NY, sends over 400 packages
a month to our Troops overseas plus she
supports their families at home. This is not a company doing this, this is a
mother who's son has just returned from Iraq for the 3rd time. Please
checkout her site at
www.usahelp.us and support our Troops, you will be glad you did.
Ask
yourself...how can I help? Here are a few simple ways YOU
can SUPPORT our troops
1. Sponsor a serviceman or woman.
We need sponsors badly All
it takes is $10 per month for each soldier you want to sponsor (this just
covers shipping for one package a month). You may send it monthly, quarterly
or all at once, which ever you prefer. Go here to sponsor a Soldier
http://www.usahelp.us/Sponsor_A_Soldier.html
Mail your check
for
sponsorship to
Have A
Heart/Adopt A Soldier
143 Denio Road
Malone , NY 12953
2.
Some of you may just prefer to
send a monetary donation. It cost a lot to supply the
troops with items from home and your donation can help buy some of the
supplies. We do need your support.
3. Be supportive of the different
campaigns/fund raisers that we are doing on our website
4. You may want to
donate some of the items listed on our website: (must
be in original carton) You can buy any of the items listed and then pay
postage to get them to me..or you may simply order supplies from
www.minimus.biz as they will ship your supplies to me ( no S & H fee ).
5. Or drop Gladys Walker an email at
soldier2@twcny.rr.com and ask her how
you can help.......
Also check out America Supports You, a
nationwide program launched by the Dept of Defense to recognize citizens
support for our military men and women and communicates that support to
members of our Armed Forces at home and abroad.
